Lovely Massage is a small business that aims to improve people’s overall health and well-being. With this in mind clients should be reminded that Lovely Massage is an appointment only service and that the contact details provided should be used in an appropriate manner. Lovely Massage does not provide crisis support for mental or physical health conditions, should you feel concerned about either of these contact your GP.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an appointment please give at least 24 hours notice. If you cancel less that 24 hours in advance I will ask for the full amount for the treatment to be paid.
Inclusion
Lovely Massage is an inclusive business and always aims to treat clients with equality. However in the event of a therapist feeling unsafe we reserve the right to refuse treatment. Lovely Massage will always aim to keep therapists and clients alike safe.
There are stairs to access my home treatment. If you have difficulty with stairs let me know and I can either set up on the ground floor or visit you in your home.
I will always do my best to treat clients but sometimes I may not have the qualifications to do so. For example I am not oncology massage trained and may on occasion be unable to treat because of this. If you are living with cancer I recommend you find an oncology trained massage therapist. I can only treat those who have been signed off by their consultant.
Privacy, confidentiality and consent
All clients will be asked to sign a privacy, confidentiality and consent form. This will be kept in accordance with GDPR along with any other relevant notes. You can view a copy of the agreement here.
Consultation form
Prior to your treatment you will need to fill in a consultation form. The consultation form describes, total, relative and local contraindications. Total contraindications mean I cannot treat you. Relative ones mean I need permission from your GP, doctor or consultant or that I require you to fill in my medical disclaimer. Local contraindications mean I will avoid the area or use only a very light touch. You can read about contraindications here. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to inform me about your health, any changes to your health, and anything you deem to be relevant to your treatment.
